Being a big student of POE since high school 50 years ago and having read nearly all of his works, this is an excellent book that considers not only parts of Poe's life, but his death, and phenomenon people believe to be his spirit still walking the earth. Living 20 minutes from Providence, RI, where it's an urban legend that his spirit has been seen on Benefit Street it was very interesting to learn of his time living in the area, and the lady friend his spirit supposedly returns to the area to visit..... The book also has delicious details about Poe's body being disinterred and reburied in his final resting place including info on the state of his corpse during the process.... A must read for Poe fans!
