I can't stand seeing items receive poor reviews because of user error, or not reading the description.Moving on. Did you catch my saying "for the money" in the headline? This is to set the tone for realistic expectations. Bottom line, these are inexpensive and non OEM, so you should expect to get what you pay for, a nearly absolute rule of the universe. That said, for the money, these are quite nice. They should be installed by someone handy. A handy person should be able to exercise common sense to accomplish, most if not all of the assembly without need of the instructions which others have mentioned, are poor.Finished, this is a nice looking set of cross bars that feel sturdy and look near OEM. The "plastic" (actually rubber) strip mentioned in a poor review is, as is mentioned in one of the photos, there for a purpose. The purpose being anti slip.Read the descriptions, look at the photos, if you want OEM buy OEM and don't expect to get a bar of gold for fifty cents. Follow these simply rules and your Amazon experience will be so much more fulfilling.
