People complaining about assembly probably have trouble putting their pants on in the morning too. Assembled the whole thing without directions and installed on my vehicle in half an hour total. Only used once so far but seemed solid with a 45lb 11' kayak in it for 25 miles. Would definitely buy again.The instructions to wrap the tie down on the lower loop of the rack is wrong though. Always wrap through and around your roof rack.Just used these on a 450mi round trip with a kayak. Installing was easy, the initial setup was ok but was sent 4 of the wrong screws. In all this is ok for the price.Just opened the package to inspect it. People talked about not having instructions and different stuff like that mine came with instructions granted they’re very rudimentary just an image but that’s all you need. And I like that everything was packaged with like items and all separated from each other so it’s easier to keep track of everything so when you’re putting it together it’s gonna be a lot easier and knows much of a hassle. Materials feel to be a good quality I will be assembling it and attaching to my roof rack here shortly. And I will update my review at that timeI think its worth buying if you have a half day to assemble.These seem sturdy and were simple to assemble. However, the nuts provided were reversed by amount vs type. Will have to make a trip to the hardware store to correct that error.Good product, and came with a nice straps. There are not step by step instructions, but they are not needed.These are not as big as the other set I have for one of my two Kayaks. Luckily I bought this set for the smaller of my two kayaks.Overall I mean... for a little over $30 Im happy so far.
