Used this on a recent surf trip to HI. It was great for my beach gear and great for stuffing my dirty clothes in!It holds a lot and still fits in the overhead bin on the airplane(I love the straps)I am used to traveling with a backpack that has lots of pockets, so it took a bit to get used to having one big bag(as opposed to all the pockets to hold everything). But for me, I realized that this is really a bag for hiking, being at the beach or protecting my gear from the elements.This was purchased as a gift. I can’t speak to dryness and durability.
